Parandi

Parandi is the traditional handiraft of Punjab. These are the colourful hangings which are worn by the Punjabi women to tie their hairs in a very elegant style. Mostly these are worn with the long hairs, which they plait and then tie a parandi at the end. There is a vast variety of parandi in designs and colors. These are made of silk threads.
